안녕하세요, visualDESIRE Lab.을 운영하고 있는 이태호(Tae-Ho Lee)입니다.

하이퍼 텍스트의 환경 안에서 서로 다른 경험과 생각, 그리고 삶의 관심사를 연결하는 즐거운 일에 늘 소소한 기대를 가지고 있습니다. '관습'과 '전통'을 분리하여 인식하기를 지향하며 이에 따른 참신한 문제해결을 지향합니다. 그러나 현재의 인터넷 사회를 주도하는 이들이 가장 목소리 높여 말하는 '탈 경계적 발상', '창의적이고 열린 생각', '관습에 얽매이지 않는 태도', '기존과 전혀 새로운 것의 추구'등과 같은 서양식 합리주의에서 배태된 실용주의적 슬로건들을 마치 모든일을 대하는 가장 바람직한 태도인양 맹신하는 태도역시 지양하고 경계합니다.

인터넷 커뮤니케이션 방법론(Methodolgy), HCI(Human Computer Interaction), 동적 플래시 어플리케이션에 의한 웹 서비스, 창의적인 인터렉션 디자인, 디지털 아트등에 관심이 많으며, 감각적 미학적요소에 바탕을 둔 디자인과 수학적 논리적 요소에 바탕을 둔 테크놀러지의 완전한 컨버전스(Convergence)를 감행합니다. 따라서 프로그머블한 아트웍을 실현하는 것이 제가 생각하는 저의 가장 이상적인 과업입니다.

실천적 지식인으로 20세기 대사상가였던 버트런드 러셀(Bertrand Russell)과, 이슬람의 성웅 술탄 살라흐 앗 딘(Salāh ad-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb)의 인생관과 사회관, 국가관에 감명을 받았으며 프랑스의 소설작가 베르나르베르베르(Bernard Werber)의 책에 기술된 세계관에 흠뻑 빠져있기도 했습니다. "결국 우리가 사랑하는 것에 대하여 말할 때 가장 좋은 방법은 가볍게 말하는 것이다."라는, 알베르 카뮈(Albert Camus)의 사랑의 본질에 대한 모티브를 옹호하고, 지식의 추구에 있어서 '사랑하는 방법에 관한 지식', '지식의 쓰임에 대한 지식'조차 포괄하는 통합적인 지식을 지향합니다. 이런 의미에서 사랑으로 고무되고 지식으로 인도되는 삶을 가장 가치있는 인생의 형태라고 생각하고 있습니다.

I always enjoy to connect life interests and different level of experience and idea in hypertext environment. I also pursuit custom and tradition to recognize by separating those things and I also pursuit settlement of matters. But I oppose and avoid the a blind belief attitude that all practicalism slogan from the West like free-borderland, creative and open-minded thought" "the attitude no to relate custom" "pursuit the new one than old one" etc..is always right way whenever we front to solve the matters .

I 'm interested in internet communication Methodolgy, HCI, web service by dynamic flash application, creative interection design, digital art so on..and also design for factor of art and offer the convergence of perfect technology based on mathematic-logocal. Therefore, I believe that my work for all my life is practice of programmerble-artworks.

I was impressed by Bertrand Russell who was a profound thinker in 20century as a practical thinker and Saladin(Salāh ad-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb)'s view of life and society, nation and also Bernard Werber's veiw of world in his book who com from France.

I support the wise love origin thought from the sentence like a "the best way to say about our love is simple." of Albert Camus. And also support the combined knowledge in a phase of pursuit of knowledge like a "knowledge of how to love and knowledge of how to use knowledge". In this sense, I 've thought about the worth life which is estimated with love and led with knowledge is a really valuable life mean.

컴퓨터앞에 있는 일 외에 주로 하는 일은 사진촬영과 사진감상입니다. 그것을 진지한 취미로 삼고 있으며, 스스로의 실력은 없으나 사진예술에 대해 생각보다 관심은 지대한 편입니다. 특히 세바스티앙 살가도(Salgado, Sebastiao)와 다이엔 아버스(Diane Arbus), 그리고 한국의 구본창(Bohn-chang Koo)의 사진에서 큰 감명을 받았습니다. 주로 활동하는 온라인 갤러리는 포토넷(photo.Net), 레이소다(Raysoda)가 있습니다. 대개 "Saladin"이라는 필명을 사용하고 있습니다. 도구로는 Canon A70, Nikon F100, Nikon D200과 약간의 후지 일회용카메라를 씁니다. 

한때 제프 버클리(Jeff buckley)와 서태지(Seo-Taiji)의 음악에 열광했습니다. 자신만의 색깔을 가지고 있는 아티스트와 음악은 모두 좋아하는 편이나, 요새는 주로 Zero7과 Feist[Music Video], YUI의 음악을 즐겨듣습니다. 개인적인 쥬크박스를 개설해 어디서든지 제가 좋아하는 음악들을 담아놓고 듣습니다.

I usually do taking and watching a picture with my pc. I really do love that as my real hubby and I 'm not good at taking a picture but I have a big interests about art picture. Especially I was so impressed from the picture like a Salgado, Sebastiao, Diane Arbus, Bohn-chang Koo korean. I often look around online gallery photo.Net, Raysoda. Usually, my pen name is "Saladin".as a tool I can handle anon A70, Nikon F100, Nikon D200 also huji's a round camera.

Once I love to listen Jeff buckley and Seo-Taiji. I prefer to like musician kinds of people who have their own spirit, recently I enjoy to listening Zero7, Feist[Music Video], YUI.
